I went to a room here in our house which use to be my room but I had to transfer and give it to my cousin which right now is again vacant because he is in Hervey Bay. He’s a marine biologist and is researching whales, so all he does is spend his days on expeditions whale watching. It has been turned into a temporary stock room for awhile before I move back into that room to set up my work area. I went through this old box sitting at one corner and i found 3 things that gave me a quick trip back to memory lanes. I found the concert streamer. The concert streamer had our signatures and dates when my band had a concert outside of the city. It was actually our first out of town performance as a band where in we got to travel for free, stay in a hotel, eat and drink for free, a play a jammed pack venue and the best part we got paid for what we love to do. Play rock and roll music. It was a sponsored event and that was October 25, 1997.3. Wolfgang December 4, 1999 Autographed Poster - geez .. i have been a great fan of this filipino band and when they had their concert here for the first and last time, i was fortunate enough to be a part of the organizing team. My office was turned into a ticket booth to sell Wolfgang concert tickets and t-shirts. I got myself an autograph t-shirt from the guys and aside from free tickets to the show, i had backstage passes. Cool! I was able to meet the band after the gig here and it was one heck of an experience. Going back to reality after a quick trip to memory lanes, i wonder if ever ....
